2006 PALMETTO PEMBROKE WELSH CORGI CLUB
SWEEPSTAKES RESULTS
JUDGE: Judy Hart (SuaMah)
I’d like to thank the members of the Palmetto PWCC
for inviting me to judge sweepstakes, and the exhibitors who brought their
youngsters. Gerald Kyle was my great steward and lunch partner, and show chairs
Emily Singer and Gail Marcum had everything running smoothly…even holding
off the cold, wet weather until we were through! To generalize about the entry,
heads were generally quite good with dark eyes, and bites were fine. Feet
became of increasing concern…the occasional flat splayed foot, but more
commonly, little tight cat feet with thick pads and short toes. These were
usually at the end
of rather heavy bone, giving the appearance of almost no feet at all! Good
shoulder assemblies were in limited supply. There were a number of youngsters
who lacked balance in their sidegait, hopefully just a stage in their development.
Pretty is as pretty does, and it cost some of them today. Temperaments were
universally good in both dogs and handlers, and great grooming made going
over each dog a pleasure. Thank you!

NORTHRUN STORM SWEPT

Best Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes
TRIPLE H RUFF AND READY
PUPPY DOGS. 6-9 MONTHS (4 entered)
1st RYSLIP MOONWALK WAKEFIELD (Brynelli Double Exposure x Ryslip Moon Eclipse)
Breeder: Mrs C E Cartledge. Owner: Peggy Kessler. A plain red fellow who was
age appropriate in size and development, attractive head and sweet expression,
sound coming and going, and won the class on
his balanced, free and easy sidegait…looked like he could have done
it all day.
2nd PEMBURY HOUSE TRITON (By Ch Triple H Enchanted Hip Hop X Ch Pembury House
Presence)
Breeder/Owner: Sandi Eaton. A very plush, glamorous puppy quite mature for
his age. Beautiful head and type, good coming and going, but unbalanced in
sidegait today, heavy on his forehand and kicking out behind without underreach.
3rd WISTERIA MAPLECREEK CONTRADICTION (Ch Maplecreek Silver Sword x Ch Maplecreek
Imagination). Breeder: Mindy Holmes & Linda Holpuch. Owner: Nash Parker
& Rutledge Parker.
A lovely boy with good body proportions and pretty head. Obviously a ‘first
timer’ and difficult to evaluate on the move and standing, as he didn’t
want to ‘stand up’ and be seen!
4th MASTERMAN'S SHADOWS IN THE SUN (Mastermans Flash Lightning x Masterman's
Lady Mattie). Breeder: Regina Fletcher & Shirley Goulet. Owner: Shirley
Goulet.
Good length of body and neck, but higher on leg and less bone at this point
in his development than the ones above.
PUPPY DOGS. 9-12 MONTHS (4 entered)
There wasn’t much to separate these boys today, so it was an ‘at
the moment’ decision!
1st LOST RIVER TRI'D N TRU IRISH MIST (Ch Putnam Forever Splendor x Ch Lost
River's Hot Ticket). Breeders/Owners: Shawn Michael & Kathy Hash. Lovely
type, head, bone with nice long ribbing, balanced movement with a level back,
sound coming and going, and pretty feet.
2nd STAFFORD'S MOONLIGHT MAGIC BREW (Ch Triple H Once In A Brew Moon x Stafford's
Triple Magic Cariad). Breeder/Owner: Cecelia T Cassady. Another of good proportions,
attractive head, level topline, short hocks…more upright shoulder than
the one above.
3rd COLTSRUN IT'S A GUY THING (Ch Elfwish Sweet Talkin Guy x Ch Coltsrun Never
Even Tri'ed). Breeders/Owners: Cathy Donovan & Elizabeth Trail. Most similar
to the class winner in type, bone, outline, but a little higher in the rear
on the day…and less willing to play show dog when it counted.
One to watch on another day.
4th STAFFORD'S MIDNIGHT MAGIC BREW (Ch Triple H Once In A Brew Moon x Stafford's
Triple Magic Cariad). Breeder/Owner: Cecelia T Cassady. Very scopey tri with
neck and length and pretty head. Lots of bounce in the topline and narrower
in front on the day…otherwise could as easily have been the class winner
as any of the ones above.
DOGS 12-15 MONTHS (5 entered, 1 absent)
1st WOODWYNNE VACHE DRAGONHEART. (Ch. Vache's Pendragon of Jimanie x Woodwynne-Foxllyn
Sweet Tea).
This workmanlike boy finally won on balance throughout.
He’s an attractive package, sound in all direction, would like more
length and a longer stride, but the more I worked them, the more his balance
became an asset.
2nd CORGARD FORBIDDEN MEMORIES (Dalarno Shining Legacy x Ch Corgard Memories
Of Foxway). Breeder: Michele L Pohl & Kandy Boll. Owner: Ellen Schusterson
& Kandy Boll & Michele Pohl.
I thought would be my winner…more length of neck and body and an easy
stride, but was narrow in front at this stage and kept insisting on standing
‘off’ with his left front foot. Time will hopefully take care
of that.
3rd MAPLECREEK DRESS FOR SUCCESS ( Ch Maplecreek Silver Sword x Ch Myllwyn
Make a Wish) Breeder: Mindy Holmes. Owner: Lesley Hammar & Mindy Holmes.
A very attractive boy of good proportions, pretty head, lovely standing but
shoulder assembly cost him in movement.
4th FOOTHILLS BOYS KNIGHT OUT (Ch Summertime Enchanted Knight x Triple H Queen
of Diamonds). Breeder Lynn Maxey & Debbie Cox. Owner: Lynn Maxey.
A beautiful plush boy with a darling expression, but quite low in the shoulder
both standing and moving right now, which cost him significantly in balance.
DOGS 15-18 MONTHS (4 entered)
1st TRIPLE H RUFF AND READY (Ch Triple H Joltin Joe x Ch Summertime Enchanting
Eve). Breeder: Deborah G Cox. Owner: Kim Warden.
This boy had good proportions with excellent length of neck and body, age
appropriate in maturity, a lovely head, nice snug fit of elbows to body and
an easy mover. Some flex in his topline almost cost him, but his overall quality
made him a worthy BEST OPPOSITE IN SWEEPSTAKES.
2nd TRIPLE H MOVE IT ON OVER (Ch Triple H Joltin Joe x Ch Summertime Enchanting
Eve). Breeder: Deborah Cox. Owner: Beth Grohowski & Dayna Hewitt &
Deborah Cox.
This tri boy pushed hard, as he and the one above swapped places in my mind
several times. Similar in type and outline to the one above, and this boy
had a harder topline and was a bit lower…but he also had a deeper stop,
rounder eye and smaller ear that made his head less correct to me.
3rd HAPPIHARBOR THEODORE REX (Ch Happiharbor Robt Browning x Happiharbor Idle
Gossip). Breeder: Nash & Rutledge Parker Owner: T Rutledge Parker.
Pretty type, bone, head, and sound in every direction. Appeared more compact
than those above, but carrying a little extra weight which may have contributed.
A nice size and age appropriate in maturity, and pretty feet!
4th FOXLLYN FOREVER FOXTROT (Ch Sua Mah Always in Cahoots x Foxllyn Loves
To Dance) Breeder: Linda Galphin. Owner: Julie Dillingham & Linda Galphin.
A very mature boy with a pretty head, short hocks and good feet, and sound
coming and going. More restricted in reach due to shoulder construction,
and weight didn’t help.
PUPPY BITCHES. 6-9 MONTHS (3 entered)
1st NORTHRUN STORM SWEPT. (Coltsrun Lemony Snicket x Northrun Windsong). Breeder/Owner:
Cathy Donovan.
Glamorous tri baby with a beautiful outline and type, good bone without being
too
heavy and round, short hocks, pretty feet, lovely head with dark eyes, and
not a clue! Fortunately she was a fast learner and quite willing to keep trying,
and eventually I was able to see that she was also good coming and going and
free and easy from the side while holding her topline. Obviously the Growth
Stage Fairy hasn’t visited her at all yet! By the end of the day she
had it figured out, and charmed me into BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES.
2nd FOXLLYN'S MISS SHADOW LANE. (Ch Sua Mah Always In Cahoots x Foxllyn's
Loves To Dance). Breeder: Linda Galphin. Owner: Bevan Weyburn & Gail Marcum
& Linda Galphin.
Nice outline though a little long in the loin, attractive head, and balanced,
easy side gait.
3rd RYSLIP LUNAR TWO WAKEFIELD. (Brynelli Double Exposure x Ryslip Moon Eclipse).
Breeder: Mrs C E Cartledge. Owner: Peggy Kessler.
Pretty head and beautiful feet, but straighter in angulation at both ends
and shorter ribbing/sternum cost her in this competition.
PUPPY BITCHES. 9-12 MONTHS (5 entered)
1st LASTSTOP CATHERINE THE GREAT. (Ch Triple H Once In A Brew Moon x Ch Laststop
Bump In The Night). Breeder: Carol L Dowd. Owner: Carol Dowd. Beautiful outline
with length of neck and body, good topline and underline on the move, short
hocks, pretty head…just narrow at this age which was most obvious coming
at you…age will take care of that.
2nd SANDFOX HEAVENLY GATE ( Ch Byendebrok Maplecreek Baccarat x Sandfox Heavenly
Body) Breeder: Vicki Sandage DVM. Owner: Vicki Sandage DVM, Sharon Lofley
& Bjorn Lamborn.
Another with a nice outline with a less advantageous shoulder construction,
but easy movement and sound coming and going. Pretty foxy head, and good feet.
3rd JIMANIE'S ON MY HONOR. (Ch Sua Mah Always In Cahoots x Ch Jimanie's Finnish
Acclaim).
Breeder: Stephanie Hedgepath & Paige McBride. Owner: Gail Marcum &
Bevan Weyburn. Not the scope of those above and shorter upper arm cost in
side gait. Attractive head and feet, sound coming and going.
4th LETALONE CREEK KNIGHT DANCER ( Ch Summertime Enchanted Knight x Triple
H Out in Left Field). Breeder: Amanda Gordon. Owner: Patricia & Richard
Barton.
Similar in scope to the first two, but leggier and high in rear today…another
problem that time will fix.
BITCHES 12-15 (3 entered, 1 absent)
1st DALARNO STARRY NITE. (Ch Summertime Enchanted Knight x Ch Dalarno All
That Glitters). Breeder: Carrie P Harris. Owner: Carrie Harris & Anna
Wyatt.
Left much of her coat at home, but that just made her good outline and coordinated
sidegait easier to see! Attractive head and ears, sound in
all directions.
2nd TRESAITHS TIZ A GOLDEN MORN (Ch Honeyfox Tiz Now x Ch Glenys Goes For
Gold) Breeder/Owner: Janet & Bill Richardson.
At first glance I thought she’d be the winner; lovely type and head,
but longer in loin and a little high in the rear, and less ease in movement
today.
BITCHES 15-18 (5 entered)
Deciding between the first two was my hardest decision of the day, and they
swapped places several times in my mind before I finally had to decide!
1st SALVENIK SECRET IS OUT. BREEDER: (Twinan Custom Made x Salvenik Sure Bet).
Breeder: Teresa Maddox. Owner: Peggy B Kessler.
Beautiful outline on this plain red bitch. Pretty head, nice
length of neck, short hocks, but splayed feet. She had wonderful side gait
with great reach, drive and followthrough, despite being a bit ‘rolling’
while doing so. By the end of the day she’d had it with playing showdog,
just as the baby puppy was warming up to her showdog role!
2nd XIII MAPLES NO DOUBT AT AVALON (Ch Tallyrand Doubting Thomas x Ch Readfield
Moon O'er XIII Maples). Breeder: Ellen C Childs & M Read. Owner: Jane
Rainsford & Ellen Childs.
Another with beautiful type and outline, beautiful chiseled head, long neck,
lovely feet, and I thought would be my winner. She had less reach and drive
than the one above and became less balanced as I worked the class more, and
it finally cost her.
3rd RED OAK PATSY CLINE (Ch Wakefield Dandelion x Haresfoot Hazel) Breede/Ownerr:
Sally Wynn.
A more compact girl with shorter ribbing, but short hocks and balanced, easy
sidegait put her into this spot.
4th RIVERSIDE XTRAVAGANZA Breeder: Deb Shindle. Owner: Connie Clawson.
Lovely type and appealing head, and at first look I thought she’d place
higher, but shorter neck and short, round feet that ‘scuffed’
in motion cost her.
VETERAN SWEEPS
VETERAN DOGS. 10-12 YEARS. 1 entered, 1 absent.
VETERAN DOGS. 12 YEARS AND OLDER. 1 entered.
CH HONEYFOX STARSTRUCK (on right in photo). (Larklains Starlight Nobel x Ch
Ercildoun Run With The Wind). Breeder: Susan Strickland. Owner: Virginia C
Fitzgerald.
Was delighted to see my old friend Patrick still hale and hearty! His beautiful
type and temperament always makes me smile, but on this day, I was particularly
struck by his shoulder construction. Even at his age, his long, well laid
back shoulder blade is flat and without any ‘bunchy’ muscles having
to intercede on its behalf, and having just gone over so many youngsters,
I wondered when it was in the years since his birth that this important component
of structure stopped having enough value to us in our breeding programs.
BEST OPPOSITE IN VETERANS SWEEPSTAKES.
VETERAN BITCHES. 8-10 Years 1 entered
CH FOXTALE'S SINFULLY SWEET. (By Ch Llandians Sweet Success x Foxtale's Tanqueray).
Breeder/Owner: Virginia C Fitzgerald.
She looked like a special…we obviously show ‘em too young! Gorgeous
head, another good shoulder that shamed the youngsters, and moving well in
all directions.
BEST IN VETERANS SWEEPSTAKES.
REGULAR CLASS RESULTS
JUDGE: Lanalee Jorgensen
What a thrill it was to be asked to do this specialty. I had always heard
how wonderful this specialty was, but had not the opportunity to find out
first hand until I judged there. It is a small but very dedicated club that
puts on a first class dog show. The show committee took care of my every need
and made sure we all had a good time while they did it. I want to thank them
for their hard work as well as Bethl Dowd for the beautiful roses that were
distributed. I would be remiss if I didn’t extend deep felt gratitude
to my ring steward extraordinaire, Gerald Kyle for keeping me on track and
my ring running so smoothly.
Overall the quality was quite nice, many classes going deeper than even the
placings and with more than a few truly exceptional animals exhibited. If
I were to quibble, I would address two areas. Feet are to be oval and well
shaped. While there were very few hare feet (which I have seen in other areas
of the county), some feet were very round, almost to being cat’s feet.
Additionally, I caution the breeders to prize those correct shoulders when
they have them in their breeding program. Front assemblies are so easy to
lose and so difficult to get back once gone.
Puppy Dogs, 6-9 Mos (4 entered)
1st PEMBURY HOUSE TRITON (By Ch Triple H Enchanted Hip Hop X Ch Pembury House
Presence) Breeder/Owner: Sandi Eaton.
Lovely puppy with good substance. Excellent type and an attractive head. Equal
angles on each end. Fluid on the move. The first 3 puppies could be interchangeable
on any given
day.
2nd RYSLIP MOONWALK WAKEFIELD (Brynelli Double Exposure x Ryslip Moon Eclipse)
Breeder: Mrs C E Cartledge. Owner: Peggy Kessler.
Another typey, attractive puppy. Good bone, good oval feet. Appealing headpiece.
On this day his topline was a bit bouncy and loose, causing him to finish
behind the first place puppy.
3rd WISTERIA MAPLECREEK CONTRADICTION (Ch Maplecreek Silver Sword x Ch Maplecreek
Imagination). Breeder: Mindy Holmes & Linda Holpuch. Owner: Nash Parker
& Rutledge Parker.
This was a boy I liked very much & he shows promise, but today he was
not a happy baby. Once in awhile I could actually see his beautiful movement,
but he was just not interested in trotting around on rubber mats.
4th MASTERMAN'S SHADOWS IN THE SUN (Mastermans Flash Lightning x Masterman's
Lady Mattie). Breeder: Regina Fletcher & Shirley Goulet. Owner: Shirley
Goulet.
A nice red & white male but with a bit high on the leg for my tastes.
Puppy Dogs, 9-12 Mos (4 entered, 1 absent)
1st COLTSRUN IT'S A GUY THING (Ch Elfwish Sweet Talkin Guy x Ch Coltsrun Never
Even Tri'ed). Breeders/ Owners: Cathy Donovan & Elizabeth Trail.
Beautiful, typey & substantial puppy with a nice sidegait. Moving a bit
high in the rear on this day, but it is most likely a growth stage.
2nd LOST RIVER TRI'D N TRU IRISH MIST (Ch Putnam Forever Splendor x Ch Lost
River's Hot Ticket). Breeders/Owners: Shawn Michael & Kathy Hash.
This was a very close call between 1st and 2nd. This boy had a good shoulder,
solid topline and plenty to offer. I just happened to prefer the 1st place
dog on this day.
3rd STAFFORD'S MIDNIGHT MAGIC BREW (Ch Triple H Once In A Brew Moon x Stafford's
Triple Magic Cariad). Breeder/Owner: Cecelia T Cassady.
Quality RHT with an excellent shoulder. A little wobbly across the topline,
but again it could be an age thing.
Dogs, 12-18 Mos (9 entered)
1st SANDFOX MEDAGLIA D'ORO (Ch Byendebrok Maplecreek Baccarat x Ch Sandfox
Set Me Free). Breeder: Vicki Sandage DVM. Owner: B Stiles & S Klar &
P Bittles & V Sandage.
When this boy came into the ring, I had to just say WOW. He floated around
the ring taking in the most ground with the least steps. Clean coming &
going, appealing in profile. WINNERS DOG.
2nd TRIPLE H RUFF AND READY (Ch Triple H Joltin Joe x Ch Summertime Enchanting
Eve). Breeder: Deborah G Cox. Owner: Kim Warden.
Again, a quality boy with good bone, nice depth of body. Nice layback of shoulder
& good length of neck.
3rd CORGARD FORBIDDEN MEMORIES (Dalarno Shining Legacy x Ch Corgard Memories
Of Foxway). Breeder: Michele L Pohl & Kandy Boll. Owner: Ellen Schusterson
& Kandy Boll & Michele Pohl.
Excellent rear assembly. Can be a bit lifty in front but for the most part
well balanced
on the move.
4th HAPPIHARBOR THEODORE REX (Ch Happiharbor Robt Browning x Happiharbor Idle
Gossip). Breeder: Nash & Rutledge Parker Owner: T Rutledge Parker. Overall
a lovely package with a solid topline standing and on the move. Beautiful
prosternum.
Bred by Exhibitor Dogs (6 entered)
1st RIVERSIDE XTRA ORDINARY (Ch Aberlee Storm Force x Ch Riverside Red Alert).
Breeder: Deb Shindle & F Daum & T Jordan. Owner: Erika Bigott &
Yvonne Herrera & D Shindle.
Large boned, substantial male, dripping in type. Extremely appealing, masculine
head Would prefer a more oval foot. RESERVE WINNERS DOG
2nd STAFFORD'S MOONLITE MAGIC LEGACY (Ch Triple H Once In A Brew Moon x Stafford's
Triple Magic Cariad) Breeder/Owner: Cecelia T Cassady.
A free moving male with a good, solid topline. Could be a bit better in croup,
but he compensates well in motion.
3rd SANDFOX ZEPHYR CDX (Ch Dwynella Take A Chance x Ch Perivale Whispering
Wind). Breeder: Feli Noeller & Vickie L Sandage. Owner: Donnalee Buzas
& Feli Noeller.
A quality red & white male with a lovely outline. Not quite as good in
motion as the first two animals.
4th BRUMBAER'S TELL TALE HEART. (Ch Aberlee Storm Force x Ch Brunswig's Fiona
Apple). Breeder/Owner: Sue King & Karen Fruhmann.
Excellent shoulder, beautiful headpiece, good feet. As the class progressed,
he began to come up a little high in the rear and could be a bit better coming.

1st DOGWOOD WANDER'N BILLY JO. (Ch Triple H Joltin Joe x Ultraa Winter Wish).
Breeder: Catherine Armitage. Owner: Catherine Armitage.
Red & white male with a pleasing outline both standing and on the move.
Good shoulder opening and a lovely headpiece.
2nd DALARNO DEER MEADOW PATRICK. (Ch Triple H Enchanted Hip Hop x Dalarno
Sandpipe). Breeder: Carrie P Harris. Owner: Martha A Graham.
Presents a lovely outline in profile. Very close between 1st and 2nd place.
I preferred the larger ear on the first animal.
3rd TRIPLE H NATURAL AVENUE. (Triple H Simply Magic x Triple H Heavenly Bliss).
Breeder: Deborah G Cox. Owner: Robin S Hardison
Red & white boy with a wonderful attitude.
Open Dogs (7 entered)

Overall a very beautiful animal.
2nd PUTNAM DAZZLING FFAIR DALIS. (Ch Woodhenge Dream Maker NA NAJ x Ch Putnam
Dazzling Splendor). Breeder: Jane McCormick. Owner: Nancy Wright & Darryl
Wright & Janet Richardson.
What a showman this boy is. He had a wonderful time. Moves with an excellent
topline, would prefer better under drive.
3rd JIMANIE'S PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. (Ch Sua Mah Always In Cahoots x Jimanie's
Sweet Talker). Breeder: Stephanie Hedgepath & Linda Galphin. Owner: Linda
Tedrow.
Quality BHT with an good shoulder. Could have placed higher but topline was
off a bit on this day.
4th STARLITE-FOXTALE CHASIN' RAINBOWS. (Ch Hum'nbird Nathaniel Hawthorne x
Ch Foxtale's Under The Boardwalk). Breeder/Owner: Barbara J Boltz & Virginia
C Fitzgerald.
Lovely dog standing. Good bone. Correct feet. Topline gives while in motion.
Puppy Bitches, 6-9 Mos (3 entered)
1st NORTHRUN STORM SWEPT. (Coltsrun Lemony Snicket x Northrun Windsong).
Breeder/Owner: Cathy Donovan. What a captivating little stunner is this one.
A knock out
RHT, she caught the eye immediately. Lovely in motion (when she would co-operate).
2nd RYSLIP LUNAR TWO WAKEFIELD. (Brynelli Double Exposure x Ryslip Moon Eclipse).
Breeder: Mrs C E Cartledge. Owner: Peggy Kessler.
Quality bitch with good feet and bone. Would prefer a more attractive head,
but that may change as she matures.
3rd FOXLLYN'S MISS SHADOW LANE. (Ch Sua Mah Always In Cahoots x Foxllyn's
Loves To Dance). Breeder: Linda Galphin. Owner: Bevan Weyburn & Gail Marcum
& Linda Galphin.
Lovely type but a little long in the loin. She also tends to move at a bit
of a cast over the loin area. It could just be a growth stage.
Puppy Bitches, 9-12 Mos (6 entered)
1st HUM'NBIRD NIGHT LILY. (By Ch Sua Mah Thanks For Believing x Ch Hum'nbird
Wood Lily).
Breeder/ Owner: Carrie Chase. Gorgeous girl with lovely short hocks, excellent
bone, She
presents an eye filling outline from her lovely posternum to her shapely thighs.
Extremely appealing headpiece. It was my pleasure to award her
RESERVE WINNERS BITCH AND BEST PUPPY
2nd LASTSTOP CATHERINE THE GREAT. (Ch Triple H Once In A Brew Moon x Ch Laststop
Bump In The Night). Breeder: Carol L Dowd. Owner: Carol Dowd.
Another quality puppy. Great shoulder opening. Probably the best mover in
the class, but her headpiece distracts from her overall appearance.
3rd JIMANIE'S ON MY HONOR. (Ch Sua Mah Always In Cahoots x Ch Jimanie's Finnish
Acclaim). Breeder: Stephanie Hedgepath & Paige McBride. Owner: Gail Marcum
& Bevan Weyburn.
Also a very nice quality girl in motion. Hocks are a little long, but it could
be a puppy stage.

Mind). Breeder: Virginia C. Fitzgerald. Owner: Beverly J Burkhart & Virginia
C Fitzgerald.
Very pretty puppy who uses herself well in motion but appears to be at a lanky
stage of life, something that I expect will correct itself with age.
Bitches, 12-18 Mos (6 entered)
1st XIII MAPLES NO DOUBT AT AVALON (Ch Tallyrand Doubting Thomas x Ch Readfield
Moon O'er XIII Maples). Breeder: Ellen C Childs & M Read. Owner: Jane

well and was
well conditioned and handled.
2nd SALVENIK SECRET IS OUT. BREEDER: (Twinan Custom Made x Salvenik Sure Bet).
Breeder: Teresa Maddox. Owner: Peggy B Kessler.
Lovely type, good, strong short loin. Nice neat feet. Not quite as free a
mover as the 1st place bitch.
3rd DALARNO STARRY NITE. (Ch Summertime Enchanted Knight x Ch Dalarno All
That Glitters). Breeder: Carrie P Harris. Owner: Carrie Harris & Anna
Wyatt.
This girl took a bit to settle, but when she got to business she presented
a good, strong back and freedom of motion.
4th LOSTRVR-FOXTALE CRIMSON N CLOVER. (Ch Caralon's Casper At Gaylord x Foxtale's
Petal Pusher). Breeder: Shawn Michael & Virginia C Fitzgerald. Owner:
Virginia C Fitzgerald.
Lovely type bitch with a very appealing head. I would prefer more neck and

1st SASSAPINE BE STILL. (Ch Tallyrand No Greater Love x Ch Tara Triad Singing
In The Rain). Breeder: Amy Caple & Sandy Butler. Owner: Amy Caple.

from the side, she gaited her way to WINNERS BITCH AND BEST OF WINNERS
2nd SANDFOX TOUCH GOLD. (Ch Byendebrok Maplecreek Baccarat PT x Ch Sandfox
Set Me Free). Breeder/Owner: Vicki Sandage.
Again, another outstanding mover. Great proportions, short hocks & a rock
hard topline. I did find the large amount of white on her head a distraction
to me.
3rd PEMBURY HOUSE VERSAILLES. (Ch Aberlee Storm Force x Ch Pot O' Gold Visions
Of A Sunset). Breeder: Sandi Eaton & Barb Sheppard. Owner: Sandi Eaton.
What a pretty girl, just dripping in type, with neat feet and a charming headpiece.
On this day I preferred the movement of the first two bitches.
4th HUM'NBIRD FAIR WARNING. (Ch Conwy Brkhaven Just Rewards x Ch Hum'nbird
Ice Follies). Breeder/Owner: Carrie Chase.
A quality bitch with excellent type, lovely in motion. She carries an appealing

Typey red and white girl, shown in lovely condition. Pretty head. Moving high

My Girl Tilly). Breeder: Sandy Muff & Sue Klepp. Owner: Sharon Wozniak
& Connie Clawson & Sue Klepp.

1st SILVERMINE SADDLELANE MIA HAMM. (Ch Aberlee Storm Force x Ch Saddle Lane
Riverside Sushi). Breeder: Laura Ward & John Ward & Deborah Shindle
& Andy Carter. Owner: Laura Ward & John Ward.
Top class bitch who filled your eye standing. She presents a lovely outline
starting with her attractive head and kind expression. Rolls a bit across
the topline, which could be just a conditioning problem. Comes at you a bit
wide.
2nd MAPLECREEK STEALING KISSES. (Ch Aberlee Bransby x Ch LLandian You Make
Love Fun). Breeder: M Holmes & J D Connolly. Owner: Ava Chitty & M
Holmes.
Another pretty package overall. Well balanced. Has a better topline that the
first bitch, but not as good of a shoulder opening.
3rd FOXTALE-LLANDIANS JUST PEACHY. (Ch Aberlee Storm Force x Ch Foxtale's
Sinfully Sweet). Breeder/Owner: Virginia C Fitzgerald.
This bitch has pretty to spare. While not overly angulated at either end,

My Girl Tilly). Breeder: Kathy Dolge & Barbera Caldewood. Owner: Sharon
Wozniak & Connie Clawson.

Very nice quality sable boy who moved around the ring with joy. Overall wonderful
dog shown in good solid condition.
2nd CH HONEYFOX STARSTRUCK. (Larklains Starlight Nobel x Ch Ercildoun Run
With The Wind). Breeder: Susan Strickland. Owner: Virginia C Fitzgerald.
What a grand old fellow this was. He was having so much fun, I think he didn’t
want to see the class end. With his gorgeous outline standing, I thought he
would be my winner, but alas, his age caught up with him sometimes on the
move. When I saw his age, I thought “How lucky it would have been to
be owned by him for 15 years.”
Veteran Bitches, 8 Yrs & Older (3 entered, 1 absent)
1st CH PEMBRYN PENNY BLACK. (Ch Super Guy Of Pemland x Pembryn Athena). Breeder:
B Evans & J E Evans. Owner: T Rutledge Parker.
It was a joy to see this girl under me. I had judged her years ago. I loved
her then and I love her still. She is striking when posed, deep, substantial
without being coarse. Nice neat feet & an expression that could melt ice.
2nd CH FOXTALE'S SINFULLY SWEET. (By Ch Llandians Sweet Success x Foxtale's
Tanqueray). Breeder/Owner: Virginia C Fitzgerald.
These two girls made me smile all the way through the class. Both are such
quality bitches, that there was no easy choice. This girl moves easily with
a correct shoulder and follow-through. Lovely headpiece and expression.

Glinda Of Oz) Dog. Breeder/Owner: Peggy Kessler & Pam Dent.
This is a dog I admired as a youngster, giving him 5 points when he was but
14 months of age. Looking at him today, I still think he is a super star.
A moderate sized dog of
excellent proportions, he presents an attractive picture standing. But pretty
is as pretty does, and he is such a free and efficient mover that he seems
to make no effort at all while eating up the ground. He has so many outstanding
qualities, that its hard to not just go on and on about him. I have always
thought him to be one of the best dogs in the country.

Another stunning bitch. She presents a complete package standing with an eye
appealing headpiece, Beautiful in outline, she holds her own on the move,
and gave the boy a run for his money.
